Designing from the complex patterns found in butterfly's wing is far from easy, but Diane Coady has retained the essential, recognisable colours and markings of each butterfly in her practical, easy-to-follow designs. Most designs are drawn as suncatchers, but she has included several which combine butterflies and flowers in patterns suitable for door panels, windows and mirrors.
