How much is shipping in Australia?

All secondhand book orders sent to an Australian address are delivered at a flat rate of $9.95 per order (Standard Parcel Post).

Need your order faster? We offer a flat rate per order of $15.00 for express post.

How long will my order take to be dispatched?

Your order will generally be dispatched within 1-3 business days.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All orders are sent via Australia Post

STANDARD PARCEL POST 2 – 14 business days.

EXPRESS PARCEL POST 1 - 7 business days

All orders are sent from South Australia. Please note that as we are in a rural location Next Day Express Post Guarantee is not available.

How will my order be sent – will there be tracking?

Our parcels are sent via Australia Post. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS from Books of Knowledge once your order has been sent including your order’s tracking number.

You will also receive a separate email or SMS from Australia Post with tracking details. Australia Post will also send you updates on the progress of your delivery.

If you have an Australia Post MyPost account, you can view details for all your parcels in this account and check their status. If you are expecting a delivery from Books of Knowledge you can see where it is by entering the tracking number in your account.

Can you post an order to my Post Office Box?

Yes, our parcels are sent via Australia Post and can be delivered to PO Boxes.

Do you ship outside of Australia?

Not at this time.

I have received my order and there is a problem – what should I do?

If you receive your order and there is an issue please email us in the first instance with photographs at contact@booksofknowledge.com.au.

Your satisfaction is important to us! If we deem it appropriate, a refund will be instigated minus postage costs. We may request that you return the book to us.

Please note we do not refund/exchange for change of mind.

How will I receive my refund?

The refund will be supplied in the same method used originally to pay. For example, if an item was paid for via PayPal, the funds will be returned via PayPal.

When will I receive my refund?

Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to clear in your account. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days please email us at contact@booksofknowledge.com.au.

Can you help me find a book?

We don’t provide a book finding service, however contact us here and let us know what you are looking for. We’ll keep your details on file and let you know if we come across the book you’re looking for in our travels!

Do you provide an order tracking facility?

We don’t currently have an online order tracking facility but you will receive an email from us at each stage of your including tracking number details once your order has been dispatched.

Do I need to register an account with Books of Knowledge?

You don’t have to register an account to shop at Books of Knowledge, but if you do it allows you to access some great features such as My Wishlist, not having to enter your details each time you order, and you will be able to view your order history.

I have a Books of Knowledge gift card. What are the terms and conditions of use?

Gift cards are redeemable online through our website
Gift cards are non-redeemable for cash
Gift cards expire 3 years from the purchase date
