Steven Soderbergh's first feature, the low budge sex, lies and videotape, is a modern classic and memorable part of modern film history. Not only did the film storm the Cannes Festival of 1989 by running away with the critics' award for best film, the Palm d'Or, but it did great business too, and quickly became the most controversial and popular film of the year. Soderbergh's achievement is the kind of thing which other aspiring film-makers can only dream of. This edition contains a fascinating introduction by Soderbergh which explains just how the film got made, plus the shooting script with Soderbergh's film diary.

First class experience

I'd been searching for a particular book for around 6 months and could only find very expensive versions with even more expensive postage - amazingly I found what I was after on Books of Knowledge and, within a week or so, the book was in my hands. Great customer service and thoroughly professional. Thank you.
